VacuMaid Central Vacuum Systems
VacuMaid Cyclonic
Pure cyclonic separation delivers powerful, consistent cleaning without a traditional cloth, paper, or foam filter restricting airflow. Larger debris drops into the dirt canister while fine particles are exhausted outside.
Simple by Design
How Cyclonic Separation Works
Instead of collecting debris through a conventional filter, VacuMaid cyclonic systems use airflow to separate the material you vacuum.
Debris Enters the System
Dirt, dust, hair, and other debris travel through the central vacuum tubing to the power unit or dirt canister.
Cyclonic Action Separates It
Heavier particles fall into the lower dirt can while the lighter fine particles continue through the system.
Fine Dust Is Exhausted Outside
Fine particles are vented outside instead of being trapped in a filter that can load up and restrict airflow.
Cleaner Can Emptying
VacuMaid Air Channel
VacuMaid's patented Air Channel allows a plastic liner to be used inside the dirt canister. When the can is ready to be emptied, the liner can be tied closed and removed instead of dumping loose debris directly from the can.
- Less dust released when emptying the dirt can
- No conventional filter bag required for normal cyclonic operation
- Optional plastic liners simplify routine maintenance
- Available on compatible VacuMaid cyclonic dirt cans
One-Piece Cyclonic
Motor, Separator, and Dirt Can in One Unit
The traditional one-piece design houses the motor and electrical components at the top. Cyclonic separation takes place in the center, larger debris falls into the lower can, and fine particles are exhausted outdoors.
The lower dirt can can use a compatible plastic liner for easier debris disposal.
Cyclonic Power Units
Choose the System That Fits the Application
VacuMaid offers both one-piece and split-canister cyclonic power units. Product links below go directly to the current model pages.
P112
6.6-inch 2-stage tangential bypass motor. Cyclonic filtration with a 27-quart dirt capacity.
P125P
Cyclonic power unit designed as a replacement option for compatible existing central vacuum installations.
S2400
7.2-inch Premier 2-stage tangential bypass motor with cyclonic filtration and a 38-quart dirt capacity.
S1660
6.6-inch 2-stage tangential bypass motor with separate power unit and dirt canister for flexible placement.
S2600
7.2-inch Premier tangential bypass motor. Separate dirt canister allows easier servicing and flexible installation.
S3600
Two 7.2-inch 2-stage tangential bypass motors, 240 volts, and a separate 38-quart cyclonic dirt canister.
Split Canister Systems
Separate Motor Compartment From the Dirt Collector
With a split system, the power unit and dirt canister can be installed in different locations. The motor can be placed farther from the living area while the dirt can remains in a convenient location for maintenance.
Split systems can also be a practical choice for homes with pets. Most hair collects in the dirt can, and any hair reaching the upper screen can be wiped away during routine service.
- Flexible installation locations
- Remote motor placement can reduce perceived motor noise
- Easy-access dirt canister
- Plastic can-liner capability on compatible dirt cans
