Jeff Simonsen Retires

Lindsay family

Jeff Simonsen, LMI’s US Sales Manager, is retiring after 52 years in the vacuum industry, with the last 13 years spent as Sales Manager for Lindsay Manufacturing.

Jeff began his career in the vacuum industry in 1963 at a vac shop in Ogden, Utah. After service in the US navy and graduating from Weber State College, Jeff went to work for the A.E. Carter Company, a Eureka Distributor and a national vac parts distributor. Jeff became the sales manager in 1983 where he worked for the next fourteen years. He went on to work for the Hayden company and Beam Industries before joining the Lindsay family in 2002.

“Everyone at LMI treasures the time Jeff has been with the company,” says Winston Lindsay, CEO. “He has worked hard at making us better through a very difficult time. The room always brightened up when he arrived, yet we were able to accomplish tasks. He will be missed, especially by me, since I am now the old guy in the room.”

Jeff has been an asset to LMI and we appreciate his valuable contributions, his dedication, his knowledge and passion for the industry and his friendship. We thank him for his years of service looking after and growing our family of dealers and we all wish him the best.
